Newly elected Greens Leader David Shoebridge says the Greens need to “seize this moment” as Labor and the Coalition fail to deliver for ordinary Australians.
“After four years of a Labor government, things have got harder, much, much harder for ordinary Australians,” Mr Shoebridge said.
“Families anxious as they’re pushing their supermarket trolley … wondering if they’ll be able to afford the basic groceries.
“People making a decision about whether they pay for insurance or replace their fridge. These are not decisions that Australians should not be making in a country with the wealth and opportunity Australia has.
“These are decisions that have been forced on people. After decades of Labor, the Coalition and now their new mates in One Nation.”
